OVA’ARO FARMS is an inter-generational farm established by Yusuf Ova’aro in 1940.
The tropical climate experiend by the unique farm location has allowed us to grow various crops over the years such as cocoa, coffee, groundnut, cassava, and grains.
Today, operations has been reduced to cultivating cocoa and palm trees.
What we grow 
Our story
1940
All began with cocoa
The farm was used to cultivate cocoa, coffee, tobacco, cotton, groundnut, yams, cassava & maize.
1998
A shift in focus
Due to the passing of the founder, the farm reduced operations to only maintaining the cocoa & palm trees.
2019
A period of growth
We introduced food processing for casava into garri and palm fruit into palm oil.
2023
Full steam ahead
We intend to introduce processors for the cassava into starch, flour, gari, and Fufu. And the maize made suitable to be sold to millers and breweries.
